MAIN LAKE

This lake has 48 pegs and is used for fishing matches although pleasure anglers are able to use the lake on a Tuesday and a Thursday.

We would recommend telephoning on 01777 818099 the day before you wish to fish to confirm space,

There are Roach, Perch, Bream, Tench, Carp and Hide with match winning weights of up to 160lb.

The back lake is available for pleasure fishing every day except bank holidays (children 16 years and under must be supervised by a responsible adult ).

There are only 7 pegs with some accommodating double bivvies making total capacity to hold 13 anglers on approx 9.4 acres of water ! The  lake has a mixed variety of fish as above with weights up to 30lb .

The cost to fish is £6.00 per day and £12.00 for night sessions (invitation only ) 2014 prices. Gates open at 7.00 am and are locked at 7.00 pm.

Car parking , Toilets , cafe , fisherman’s refuges and disabled areas are also available.

 

Please ensure these rules are followed at all times for Carp and Fisherman Safety.

It is an offence to remove or introduce fish to the fishery and to leave your rods unattended for any length of time.

Fishing from 7.00am(Summer) 7.30am(Winter) to time on notice board only (usually Dusk)

No night fishing without prior permission.

Please ring 07914 066283 / 07824833213 to arrange overnight sessions and these are by invitation only due to the nature of the park.

Maximum 3 Rod Rule.

Barbless Hooks only (Micro Barbed Allowed)

Carp Mats must be used at all times for carp safety (prefererably Euro mats).

Minimum 36″ Landing Net for carp safety.

No keepnets to used at all, and no fish to be sacked overnight.

Weighing Carp must be done in a weighing sling only for carp safety.

Any tears to the mouth or damage to the carp must be treated with a carp care kit (Like Korda Carp Care Etc) before being released back.

No fishing anywhere apart from the main 7 pegged areas.

No Bloodworm, No Joker and No Cat meat.

All rubbish to be taken with you or disposed of in the bins situated around the park failure to do so will result in you being banned from the fishery.

Please Close all gates behind you to deter bank walkers.

Radios on LOW volume only and If a disturbance is caused, you will be asked to turn it off.

No cutting back trees, or damaging foliage to reach unmarked fishing areas.

No dogs allowed.

No Fires except contained BBQ’s if used sensibly.

Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

No children can night fish unless accompanied by an adult and previously agreed with the management.

Car parking is available in specified areas around the lake ( 5 MPH Speed Limit )

Do not drive around the reserve once you have parked up as there are members of the public and children walking around.

Alcohol is allowed in moderation.

Anyone found to be breaking any of the rules will be asked to leave immedialtely and no refund will be given.

 

The complex may be dangerous, persons using the fishery do so at their own risk, the management can not accept any risk of injury to yourself or any other parties and does not accept responsibility for personal injury, damage too or loss of property whilst using the fishery.
